The 805 Summer Bash presented by Wild Fit Life 805 will go down at Chido Bar in Santa Maria, CA the 28th of May. The Chicano Rap all-star lineup includes Domintor, Mr. Shadow, Conejo and Mr. Lil One. The G-Funk Junkies Podcast released a brand new episode to honor San Dieso's own, the Chicano Rap legend, Mr. Knightowl 1 year after his passing. As you know there are a couple of best of Owl Capone LPs out there. In this episode Wyze as well as his guest Sixx both reveal which songs they would have chosen to release a best of. A couple of weeks ago we announced that Rocky Padilla is getting ready to celebrate 40 years in the music industry. Thump Records finally released the promised collection of tracks called "40th Anniversary". There are 2 versions available, a 3 disc CD box set and a USB flash drive version. On Friday did Spank Loco's long awaited new album "Crazy Life" finally hit digital music stores and streaming platforms. The LP features Juan Gotti and The Dead Homie. A video for the song "Hate" was released a while ago and can be seen by clicking here. A video for the title track "Crazy Life" is supposed to be available anytime, so keep an eye open for that. 805 based artist Crazy Boy released an EP called "222" through his own label Blue Reign Music in combination with Crime Family Entertainment February, 22nd. The EP features Razcal Loko and Tony Montana. It shouldn't surprise you that you can stream "222" on Spotify or Tidal and that you can buy it from Amazon or iTunes. No video has been released yet but since Crazy Boy has always been active on that front I'm sure we can be on the lookout for a visual as well.
