A couple of weeks ago we reported that Chicano Rap legend Mr. Silent returned to the game and that he got signed to Mr. Criminal's Crime Family Entertainment. To prepare the release of his upcoming album he released its 1st single "Let It Be Known" to the digital world including a video which can by seen by clicking here. The last couple of months SL Entertainment and Mister D have been very quiet when it comes to releasing new music. Now Mister D is back his new single "Round & Round" which features Ese Saint and Cold 187um. Today, Cinco de Mayo, Cecy B returned to the Chicano Rap scene with her latest single entitled "Chicana". The female MC and vocalist is well known for her single "Mexico" featuring Lil Rob as well as for the features she did for artists such as Mr. Chino Grande and Midget Loco. Conejo's newest newest single "Hometown" from his highly anticipated upcoming album "The Reset" hit the digital music world earlier today. After the 1st Chicano Music Festival in San Diego is before the 2nd one which will go down in Las Vegas September, 9th. Advertised artists include Conejo, Mr. Shadow, Ms. Krazie, Dominator, Tierra, Sly Sick & Wicked, Thee Midniters and more. All the way back in 2005 did artist/ producer Fingazz aka Fingadelic start his "Classic For The O.G's" series by releasing volume 1 through Knightowl's Sawed Off Records in combination with East Side Records.
